All stages of manufacturing polymer-composite cylinders for liquefied gas Gutgas Composite, from raw material supply to packaging, are carried out on a single, fully automated production line unique in the world. During production, each cylinder is tested against 35 parameters, including high-pressure tests for strength and rigidity, so you can always be confident in the absolute reliability of our gas cylinder.
Safety and durability are the core principles behind the Gutgas Composite gas cylinder series. Every 200th item is tested for burst strength at 150 atm., and every 1000th undergoes cyclic testing for the maximum number of refills, withstanding over 100,000 cycles against a standard of 12,000! This means they can be used for over 100 years.
Modern composite materials give Gutgas Composite gas cylinders unique properties unattainable with other technologies:
- unmatched lightness — almost 2.5 times lighter than conventional metal cylinders;
- transparency — the gas level is easy to monitor thanks to the transparent body;
- durability — with no metal, composite gas cylinders are not subject to corrosion (rust) and are resistant to mechanical and chemical impact;
- safety and fire resistance is ensured by a pressure relief valve that releases excess gas in a controlled way, preventing sparks.
