Exceptionally strong Swedish steel of a special alloy, withstanding pressure of about 100 Atm (4 times the standard 25 Atm), reliably holds gas inside the Gutgas ExtraLight cylinder and provides increased durability at almost half the weight of a standard steel gas cylinder of comparable volume. At the same time, thanks to its deformability, the metal body easily absorbs impact energy.
The ergonomic casing of a patented design, made of high-quality thermoplastic polymer, ensures safety and ease of use for both household and professional applications.
Uncompromising safety and fire resistance of Gutgas ExtraLight cylinders are ensured by an overpressure valve, which releases excess gas in controlled amounts and does not sustain combustion even in an open flame, while a two-layer wear-resistant and weather-resistant protective coating (galvanizing and polyester powder coating) provides exceptional resistance to corrosion.
